Christmas is just around the corner. It’s meant to be a joyious time, but amid the darkness of the pandemic and current political events things can seem grim. Thankfully there is hope.

Interestingly, Christmas has become a celebration for all in our multi-cultural world – not just for Christians. That said, I can’t think of a better way to share hope this season than by using the traditional time of Advent.

In the Christian calendar Advent is the four weeks before Christmas and there are four themes – one for each week: Hope, love, joy and peace. Traditionally a candle was lit on each of the four Sundays leading up to Christmas Day.

I am taking those four themes and opening them up to all in this new series of videos. I hope they encourage you to reflect on the hope, love, joy and peace of Christmas.

God bless
Bill
